Manufacturing Production Technician Training Program - Greenville County

The Manufacturing Production Technician curriculum includes 90 hours of training comprised of the following five components:  MSSC Quality Practices and Measurements, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, OSHA 10 - General Industry Safety, Hands-On Lab Training, and Math for Manufacturing.  Participants will also complete 25 hours of work readiness curriculum, which includes résumé development, interviewing skills, work ethics, communications, and financial literacy.

Goodwill provides assistance in job searching – including access to Job Connection resources and personalized guidance from a case manager – but employment is not guaranteed.  Participants may also have the opportunity to earn scholarships for further industry-specific training.

Day Program
Manufacturing Production Technician Class: 3 weeks (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm)
Training takes place at Greenville Technical College's Buck Mickel Center (216 S. Pleasanburg Drive in Greenville)

Classes average 12 students and participants must meet these requirements:

  • Criminal Background Check
  • At Least 18 Years of Age
  • Negative Drug Screen
  • WorkKeys (Silver Required)
  • High School Diploma or GED
