Meet Cameron, a determined individual whose journey towards success began with the support of your local Goodwill and the Job Connection program. Seeking to enhance his skills and secure employment in his desired field, Cameron enrolled in the YouthBuild program with the goal of gaining a certification and experience.

Recognizing Cameron’s commitment and potential, Goodwill’s Youth and Family Services Center provided him with a unique opportunity to enroll in CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) classes through the Commercial Driving Academy in Duncan, SC. This comprehensive program included a virtual component as well as in-person training, preparing Cameron for the challenges of the field.

In addition to his training, Cameron also secured full-time employment through a staffing company, showcasing his determination to generate more income for himself and his family. Although he has not yet started his new employment from the CDL training, he is poised to experience a wage increase once he does.
