We’re celebrating our “Goodwill Greats,” associates who have dedicated 20+ years and Board Members who have committed 10+ years to serving our mission, customers, and community. Today, meet Rhonda, who has worked at Goodwill for 40 years! There's a good chance if you've picked up a piece of clothing off a rack at one of our Upstate Goodwills, Rhonda had her hand on it first. We sat down with Rhonda to get her insight on the past four decades of spreading Goodwill to All.

Question: What's the first word you think of when you hear "Goodwill"?

Rhonda: Donations! I work with donated clothes and know every donation supports people in our community, helping fund the training classes and job resources they need.

Question: What do you enjoy most about working at Goodwill?

Rhonda: The people. The people here are very kind. We enjoy working together. (laughing) We don't give each other too much trouble.

Question: How has Goodwill grown over the past 40 years you've been here?

Rhonda: When I started, we had two stores in the Upstate. Now we have over 40 stores all over the Upstate and Midlands. And, because of our growth, we can now help many, many more people, too.
