When Sharon decided to move to Columbia, SC, she had a clear goal: to create a better life and be closer to her sister. With determination and a fresh start in mind, Sharon knew finding a job was her first step toward independence.

Not stopping there, she took the proactive step of calling the Job Connection to introduce herself and she scheduled an interview. Her initiative paid off.
