Goodwill Strengthens Leadership with New Board Members and Officers

(Greenville, SC) – Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina (GIUMSC) is pleased to announce the appointment of two new distinguished members to its Board of Directors, Michele Brinn and Adrienne Young. Additionally, the organization is excited to introduce new leadership roles to further enhance its commitment to serving the community and providing job training and employment services.
Michele Brinn, a respected community leader with a proven record of accomplishment in philanthropy and civic engagement, rejoins the Board after having previously served for over 10 years. With her extensive experience in strategic planning and community development, Brinn brings valuable insights that will contribute to the continued growth and impact of Goodwill in the region.
Adrienne Young, an accomplished professional known for her dedication to social responsibility and community service, joins the Board for her first term. Young’s background in organizational leadership and commitment to empowering individuals align seamlessly with Goodwill’s mission of improving lives through the power of work.
In addition to welcoming Brinn and Young, GIUMSC is pleased to announce the following individuals who will assume key leadership roles on the Board:
- Elizabeth Steifle: Chair
- Charles Weathers: Vice Chair
- Chip Hunt: Secretary
- Nancy Rice: Treasurer

The new appointments begin January 1, 2024 and run through the calendar year.
