August 17^th is always a special day at Goodwill - National Thrift Shop Day! This year, we celebrated with a fun game and a nod to nostalgia. This annual celebration highlighted the unique charm of thrift shopping while engaging our community in a fun and interactive way.

One of the highlights of our National Thrift Shop Day festivities was a lively bingo contest hosted on our social media platforms. Customers were invited to participate by filling out specialized bingo cards featuring activities such as making a purchase at Goodwill, visiting a Job Connection, making a donation, and more. It was wonderful to see so many people sharing their experiences and discoveries from their visits to Goodwill stores and services.

Additionally, our dedicated associates joined in the celebration by dressing up in clothing inspired by their favorite decades. From vibrant ‘60s flower power to flashy ‘80s neon, our team embraced the spirit of thrift fashion with creativity and flair.
