September 19^th, 2024 will soon be known as one of the most innovative moments for Goodwill Industries of Upstate/Midlands South Carolina. We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new Resource and Opportunity Center (ROC) at our Hardscrabble location (111 Highland Center Drive in Columbia). To celebrate this milestone, we are hosting an Open House to showcase this revolutionary space that will expand our career training and services to those seeking new career possibilities.

The ROC is more than just a space – it is a gateway to meaningful career paths. Central to this is the launch of the groundbreaking Career Pathways model, designed to meet the individual needs of today’s career seekers. With over 20 specialized training programs, participants can explore fields like healthcare, transportation, logistics, skilled trades, and clean technology. The ROC is also home to our Innovation Institute, a set of technology-focused courses, taught by industry experts, which offer certifications and experience in high-demand sectors such as Cybersecurity, Film Studies, Healthcare Pathways, and Drone Pilot training.

This new facility will serve as a hub for career services, providing free resources and personalized guidance to help individuals achieve their workforce goals. Whether someone is seeking a new career or looking to upskill, the ROC will be here to support their journey!
